Experience Egypt in an extraordinary way, combining the wonders of ancient Egyptian civilization, the beauty of the Red Sea, the timeless Nile, and one of the most spectacular astronomical events of our time — the Total Solar Eclipse on 2 August 2027.
Your journey begins in Cairo, where you will discover the legendary Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum. You will then continue to Hurghada for two nights of relaxation by the Red Sea, allowing you to enjoy the resort and prepare for the main highlight of the journey.
In the early hours of 2 August 2027, you will depart Hurghada and travel toward Luxor through the spectacular landscapes of the Eastern Desert and Red Sea Mountains. At Karnak Temple, guests will have time to prepare for the extraordinary celestial event, including putting on their certified solar eclipse glasses and settling into the designated viewing area.
As the partial eclipse progresses toward totality, the ancient temples of Karnak will provide a truly unique setting for this once-in-a-lifetime experience — where the wonders of ancient Egypt meet one of nature’s most spectacular astronomical phenomena.
Following the total solar eclipse, the group will transfer to the Nile Cruise, board the vessel, and settle into their cabins before enjoying lunch and the beginning of their Nile journey.
