Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or those arriving early can opt to join our optional Backstreets
of Cairo tour which departs the hotel at 10am. If you'd like to extend your stay in Egypt we also offer an optional tour Day Trip to Alexandria.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

Bright and early this morning set off on a guided tour to see Ancient Egypt's most famous site: the iconic Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Known as Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, the pyramids were already more than 2,000 years old. Next we explore the sand-strewn tombs and temples of the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, home to the Zhoser’s step pyramid. A visit to agovernment supervised Papyrus Museum will also be made at some point during today.

Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum & National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

Cairo - Luxor. We take a guided tour of the vast new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza this morning. In this incredible 490,000 sq.m complex we'll discover a mind boggling array of relics and antiquities from almost every period of ancient Egyptian history. Arguably the most famous exhibit is the spectacular funerary mask of King Tutankhamun. Made of solid gold and weighing 11kg, the mask was found covering the head of mummy, where it lay inside a series of 3 sarcophagi. Continuing our tour, we travel on to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where the mummies of ancient Egyptian pharaohs are now on display in the Royal Mummies' Hall. Some of the mummies you will see are so well preserved, they still have thick locks of hair, visible finger nails! Then there's time to relax back at the hotel before we board the night train to Aswan this evening.

Day 4: Nile Cruise & Luxor East Bank

After Arrival at Luxor and proceed to check-in on your Nile Cruise. Your knowledgeable guide will accompany you to Luxor's East Bank, where you will witness the awe-inspiring Temple of Karnak. This remarkable temple complex stands as a testament to over 2000 years of history. Later, you will embark on an excursion to Luxor Temple, where you can admire its magnificent courtyard and the impressive granite statues of Ramses the Great. Conclude the day with a delicious dinner onboard the cruise and enjoy an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 5; Hot Air Balloon (Optional Excursion) & Luxor West Bank

Indulge in an extraordinary hot air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank at 4:30 AM, witnessing breathtaking views of iconic landmarks and the city's picturesque landscape as the sunrise casts its golden glow. Afterward capture memorable photos by the majestic Colossi of Memnon, guarding the entrance to Amenhotep III's mortuary temple. Explore the captivating Hatshepsut Temple and venture into the mystical Valley of the Kings, the eternal resting site of awe-inspiring pharaohs. Then set sail towards Esna, continuing your remarkable journey.

Day 6: Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo

Savor a delightful onboard breakfast before embarking on a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This remarkable temple, dedicated to Horus of Behedet, stands as the epitome of Ptolemaic temple construction in Egypt. With its impressive size, spanning over 140m and covering approximately 7000m², it is a testament to architectural brilliance and remarkable preservation.

Indulge in a sumptuous lunch onboard as you make your way to the Temple of Kom Ombo. This unique temple, dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, also known as Horus the Elder, offers a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian mythology. Its symmetrical design, featuring two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries, showcases the sacred connection between the two deities.

After your visit, return to the Nile Cruise to unwind, relax, and enjoy a delightful dinner

Day 7: Sail to Aswan - arrival Aswan

After enjoying a delightful breakfast onboard, embark on a visit to the impressive High Dam. This rock-fill dam, fed by the River Nile, forms the stunning Lake Nasser. Next, explore the picturesque Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, which was relocated by UNESCO to preserve its beauty. Finally, return to the Nile Cruise for a relaxing evening.

Day 8: Abu Simbel Temple (Optional Excursion)

At around 5:00 am, your guide will pick you up for an excursion to the awe-inspiring rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. Discover the remarkable architectural wonders built for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. These temples showcase a unique design and hold great historical significance. Then we'll transfer you to your hotel in Aswan

Day 9: Arrival Marsa Alam

Departing Aswan we drive to Marsa Alam, which is part of the beautiful Red Sea Riviera for 3 days on the beach!

Days 10 - 11: Marsa Alam

The next 2 days are free to explore Marsa Alam or simply relax. there's an optional
tours which can be booked locally. Marsa Alam is one of the Red Sea's most popular resorts and it is easy to see why. Hotels and expanded infrastructure provide holidaymakers with excellent aquatic facilities for sail boarding, yachting, deep-sea fishing, SCUBA diving and snorkeling. Marsa Alam’s central location provides a gateway to prime offshore reefs, which are some of the
finest in the world.

Day 12: Egypt’s capital Tour

This morning we drive to Cairo. The remainder of today is free for you to relax or explore Egypt’s capital at leisure. You can opt to join us on a visit to Khan el Khalili bazaar, the ideal place for some last minute souvenir shopping.
