Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Nile Cruise

Upon arrival in Aswan, a representative from Pharaohn Tours will meet and assist you at your hotel, Aswan Airport, or railway station. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the beautiful Temple of Philae, located on Agilika Island and dedicated to the goddess Isis. Access to the temple is by motorboat, adding a unique touch to the experience. The temple was carefully relocated following the construction of the High Dam to protect it from flooding.

Continue your tour with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most important modern engineering achievements, built to control the Nile floods and generate electricity, creating the vast Lake Nasser.

After the tour, transfer to your Nile cruise and check in for embarkation.

Day 2: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Enjoy breakfast onboard while sailing toward Kom Ombo. Visit the fascinating Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). The temple’s symmetrical design, with twin entrances and halls, reflects the dual dedication to both gods.

Return to the cruise for lunch before continuing to Edfu to explore the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus of Behedet, this impressive Ptolemaic temple is renowned for its remarkable condition, grand architecture, and detailed inscriptions.

After the visit, return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Luxor.

Day 3: Luxor East Bank

Today’s excursions begin with a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever built. Developed over more than 2,000 years, Karnak features massive columns, sacred lakes, and impressive sanctuaries that reflect the grandeur of ancient Thebes.

Continue to Luxor Temple, beautifully situated in the heart of the city. Admire its elegant courtyards, colossal statues, and stunning architecture built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II.

Return to the cruise after the tour.

Day 4: Optional Hot Air Balloon & Luxor West Bank

Early in the morning, you may join an optional hot air balloon excursion over Luxor’s West Bank. Witness a spectacular sunrise over the Nile Valley while enjoying panoramic views of temples, mountains, and ancient monuments during this unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, continue your exploration of Luxor’s West Bank with a visit to the famous Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. Proceed to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an architectural masterpiece dedicated to one of Egypt’s most powerful female rulers.

On the way, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III overlooking the Nile plain.

At the end of the tour, transfer to Luxor Airport, railway station, or your hotel in Luxor.
