If you arrive early and have some free time, there are numerous attractions to explore. You can venture into the bustling markets or, if you prefer a more serene atmosphere, take the metro to the Coptic Christian sector, the oldest part of the city. It offers a tranquil haven with its narrow cobbled streets and stunning ancient churches, providing an escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

Embark on a captivating journey to the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, which have proudly stood for over 4,500 years, including the intriguing Great Sphinx. Afterward, make your way to the Egyptian Museum, a treasure trove boasting one of the world's finest collections of ancient artifacts. Wander through the halls filled with precious treasures, and if you choose, delve into the optional Mummies Hall for an up-close encounter with esteemed queens and pharaohs from Egypt's rich history. Today, you'll have ample time to explore these remarkable sites.
As evening falls, you will be transferred to Giza Railway Station to embark on an overnight train journey to the enchanting southern city of Luxor. The train ride spans approximately 13 hours, offering you a chance to relax and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.

After reaching Luxor, our next destination is the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, renowned as the largest religious edifice globally. This monumental structure dates back over 4,000 years, with construction spanning several centuries until around 30 BC. Prepare for a guided tour of this expansive complex, featuring grand pylons, majestic obelisks, and captivating chapels. As you walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes and visit the magnificent Great Temple of Amun, the rich history of this site truly springs to life. After spending a few hours exploring Karnak Temple, you'll likely be ready to unwind and relax at the hotel for the afternoon.

Embark on an enchanting journey with another early morning. We'll cross the majestic Nile and head towards the secluded Valley of the Kings, the final resting place for sixty-three pharaohs. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, explore adorned tombs in this sacred valley. Notably, British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the burial chamber of young pharaoh Tutankhamun here in 1922. If you wish to visit King Tut's tomb today, inform your leader at the trip's start, as advance notice is required for this special visit.

Then we'll visit and the impressive hatshepsut temple. Along the way, pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing seated statues of Amenophis III facing the Nile, which are sure to leave a lasting impression.
Afterward, we will hit the road towards Aswan, a journey of approximately 4 hours. Prepare to soak in the scenic views and immerse yourself in the anticipation of the wonders that await in this captivating city.

Today, we'll Drive to Edfu and visit The Edfu temple, or Temple of Horus, is a well-preserved ancient Egyptian temple in Edfu, Upper Egypt, built during the Ptolemaic dynasty between 237 and 57 BC. It has a rectangular design with halls, shrines, and courtyards decorated with carvings and hieroglyphs from Egyptian mythology. The temple's grand entrance, or pylon, towers over 36 meters and features reliefs and carvings. The temple is a popular tourist attraction and provides insight into ancient Egyptian history and culture.
After exploring the temple, a sail on the Nile by Felucca to Kom Ombo Temple is a double temple located in Kom Ombo, Upper Egypt, built during the Ptolemaic dynasty around 180-47 BC. It is dedicated to two gods, Horus and Sobek, with a symmetrical layout, two entrances, halls, and sanctuaries. The walls and columns depict scenes from the lives of the deities and religious rituals. The temple features a relief of ancient surgical instruments and a Nilometer. A popular tourist destination, visitors can explore the temple's chambers, admire the carvings and reliefs, and learn about ancient Egyptian beliefs. Today is free for you to explore Aswan, or the surrounding area, at your family’s preferred pace. You might want to visit the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, located near the Sudan border. These two temples – one for Ramses II and another he dedicated to his wife Queen Nefertari – were cut into the cliff face in the 13th century and remain impressive in their scope and detail.
If you would prefer to stay in Aswan and get a taste of contemporary Egypt there is plenty to do. The relaxed atmosphere makes Aswan a great city to wander and watch the boats cruise the Nile, plus there’s always the hotel pool nearby where you and the kids can cool off. This evening we head to the bazaar to wander around.

Today, we'll embarked on a boat journey to the Temple of Isis from Philae. This magnificent structure is dedicated to the multifaceted Goddess of health, marriage, and wisdom. It holds significant historical value as it was rescued from the Nile's rising waters in the 1960s and relocated to its current location on Agilkia Island. The temple's decorative pylons showcase remarkable carvings, making it one of the true treasures of upper Egypt.
The afternoon, we'll crossing the river to visit a Nubian village, to have a unique experience of dining with a local family, immersing yourselve in their culture and gaining insights into their way of life.
