Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Greetings and welcome to Egypt! Once you land in Cairo, our team will arrange your transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind. Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

Early in the morning, embark on a guided tour to witness Ancient Egypt's renowned landmarks—the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. These structures stand as the lone survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, making them the planet’s oldest tourist attraction. Referred to as Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, these pyramids boast a history of over 2,000 years. The journey continues to the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, where sand-strewn tombs and temples, including Zhoser’s step pyramid, await exploration. Additionally, a visit to a government-supervised Papyrus Museum will be incorporated into today's itinerary.

Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum & National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

This morning, we embark on a guided tour of the expansive Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. Spanning an incredible 490,000 square meters, this complex houses a staggering array of relics and antiquities spanning almost every period of ancient Egyptian history. Among the notable exhibits is the famed funerary mask of King Tutankhamun, a spectacular creation made of solid gold weighing 11kg, discovered covering the head of the mummy within a series of three sarcophagi. Our exploration continues to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the Royal Mummies' Hall showcases mummies of ancient Egyptian pharaohs, some remarkably well-preserved with visible locks of hair and intact fingernails. Following the tour, enjoy some relaxation at the hotel before we board the night train to Aswan in the evening.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

Upon arriving in Aswan and completing the hotel check-in, we embark on a delightful boat trip to Agilika Island. There, we explore the Temples of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Afterward, we visit a perfume oil emporium back in Aswan. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure—whether you choose to explore the vibrant souqs, indulge in some shopping, or simply unwind and relax.

Day 5: Nile felucca cruise & Abu Simbel Temple

For early risers, there's the option to embark on a captivating excursion to the awe-inspiring Temple of Abu Simbel. Carved into the colossal rock, this temple stands as a tribute to the powerful pharaonic ruler, King Ramses II. Four towering statues of Ramses II guard the temple entrance, gazing majestically across the desert. In the afternoon, we set sail on a felucca for a two-night journey downstream the River Nile, with stops at villages and islands along the way. If a felucca isn't your preferred mode of travel, consider upgrading to a luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise.

Day 6: Relaxing & Kom Ombo Temple

In the afternoon, we anchor near Kom Ombo and use a motorboat to reach the temple dedicated to the crocodile-headed god, Sobek. After exploring the temple, we return to the felucca for a tranquil night on the river.

Day 7: Temple of Luxor

From Kom Ombo to Luxor, we disembark this morning and proceed to Luxor, renowned for the iconic Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Karnak. In the evening, consider an optional visit to the Temple of Luxor, or simply enjoy the amenities of our hotel.

Day 8: Luxor West Bank

This morning, we venture to the West Bank of the Nile to discover the fabled Valley of the Kings. Behold the Colossi of Memnon, remnants of the monumental temple of Amenophis III, and delve into the exploration of the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut along with its neighboring tombs. Following lunch, our journey takes us to the Temple of Karnak, an awe-inspiring religious complex dedicated to the gods, constructed on a grand scale. Lose yourself in the labyrinth of stone papyrus columns. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Days 10 - 11: snorkelling in Giftun Island

The following two days offer the freedom to explore Hurghada or simply unwind. Today, consider an optional day trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling, easily arranged locally. As one of the Red Sea's premier resorts, Hurghada captivates with its extensive infrastructure, offering aquatic enthusiasts superb facilities for activities like sailboarding, yachting, deep-sea fishing, SCUBA diving, and snorkeling. The central location serves as a gateway to exceptional offshore reefs, among the world's finest. Hurghada's culinary scene, vibrant nightlife, and attractions such as the ancient Roman quarry Mons Porphyritis and windsurfing ensure a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.

Day 12: Egypt’s capital Tour
