Our 14-Day adventure begins in Cairo, where you’ll stand in awe before the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. Then journey from Cairo to the captivating Bahariya Oasis is a thrilling road trip through the vast Egyptian desert. A visit to the Salt Lake provides a unique perspective on the desert landscape.

The adventure then delves into the heart of the Western Desert. After a flight from the bustling city of Cairo to Aswan, begin your adventure by sailing along the tranquil Nile on a Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Aswan, a city of mesmerizing beauty, where the Nile gracefully meanders through a landscape adorned with ancient wonders. Visit the enchanting Philae Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture nestled on a picturesque island. Marvel at its elegant columns and intricate hieroglyphs, a testament to the skill and artistry of the past. As you sail along the serene Nile, breathtaking landscapes unfold before your eyes. Discover the majestic temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu, where you can step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history and mythology of ancient Egypt. Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or those arriving early can opt to join our optional Backstreets of Cairo tour which departs the hotel at 10am. If you'd like to extend your stay in Egypt we also offer an optional tour Day Trip to Alexandria.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Egyptian Museum

This morning, we will embark on a guided tour to witness the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, renowned as the sole surviving wonder from the ancient Greek list. These magnificent structures stand as the oldest tourist attraction on Earth, captivating visitors for millennia.
The pyramids, known as Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, were already over 2,000 years old when the ancient Greeks compiled their list of wonders. These colossal monuments, testaments to the ingenuity and ambition of the ancient Egyptians, continue to inspire wonder and intrigue.
Following our exploration of the Giza complex, we visited the Egyptian Museum, a treasure trove of ancient artifacts. The museum houses an extensive collection of pharaonic treasures, including the famed golden mask of Tutankhamun.
After a day of immersing ourselves in the wonders of ancient Egypt, we returned to our hotel, to prepare for the next exciting stage of our journey.

Day 3: Cairo & Bahariya Oasis

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM at your Cairo hotel. From there, we'll provide comfortable transportation for a scenic 350km journey east of Cairo to the captivating Bahariya Oasis. This picturesque drive typically takes around 4 hours, allowing you ample time to admire the changing desert landscape.
Once we arrive in Bahariya Oasis, savor a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, immersing yourself in the authentic flavors of the region.
Next, delve into the fascinating history of the oasis with a visit to the renowned Mummies Museum. This remarkable site houses a vast collection of ancient Egyptian mummies, offering a unique glimpse into the lives and burial practices of past civilizations.
Following the museum visit, explore the intriguing Tomb of Bannantiu, another significant archaeological site within the oasis. This ancient tomb provides valuable insights into the burial customs and social structures of the time.
To truly experience the magic of Bahariya Oasis, embark on a thrilling adventure to the English House. This historic landmark offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding desert. Afterward, challenge yourself with a climb up the majestic sand dunes, experiencing the thrill of conquering the shifting sands.
Finally, witness the mesmerizing beauty of the Salt Lake. This unique natural phenomenon showcases a stunning expanse of glistening white salt crystals, creating a truly unforgettable sight.

Day 4: Black Desert & White Desert & Camping

This full-day adventure delves into the heart of Egypt's Western Desert, unveiling a tapestry of captivating landscapes. Begin your journey with a hearty breakfast, followed by an exhilarating drive to the enigmatic Black Desert. Immerse yourself in the surreal beauty of this volcanic landscape, where dark, iron-rich sands create a mesmerizing contrast against the vibrant desert sky.
Next, rejuvenate your senses at the natural hot spring nestled within the serene Valley of El Haize. Unwind in the soothing mineral-rich waters, allowing the therapeutic warmth to melt away any lingering fatigue.
Continuing the expedition, marvel at the dazzling spectacle of Crystal Mountain, where glistening quartz crystals emerge from the desert floor, a testament to the Earth's hidden treasures.
Then, venture into the awe-inspiring Valley of Agabat, a realm of captivating rock formations sculpted by the relentless forces of nature. Witness the intricate artistry of wind and erosion as you explore this unique geological marvel.
In the afternoon, embark on a journey to the renowned White Desert National Park, a true icon of Egypt's desert landscapes. Witness a breathtaking display of wind-carved rock formations, their ethereal shapes resembling giant mushrooms and pebbles.
Conclude your day with a return to the comfortable campsite at Al-Hafiz, where you can savor the tranquility of the desert night under a canopy of stars.

Day 5: Drive Back to Cairo

Enjoy a memorable breakfast at the campsite while marveling at breathtaking sunrise views over the desert landscape. Afterwards, relax during a comfortable drive back to Cairo, concluding your desert adventure.

Day 6: Flight to Aswan & Nile Cruise

Upon arriving in Aswan, a Pharaohn Tours representative will meet you at Aswan airport. Start your day exploring the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, this Greco-Roman temple is accessed by a small motorboat due to its location south of the old Aswan Dam. The temple was relocated to avoid submersion after the construction of the High Dam. Continue to the impressive High Dam, built in 1960 for flood control and electricity generation, creating Lake Nasser. Conclude your day by boarding your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples & Abu Simbel Temples

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board before moving on to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. This extraordinary temple pays homage to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. With two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries, the temple's symmetrical layout reflects the mythical connection between the two gods. Afterward, enjoy a sumptuous lunch on board before the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This remarkable temple is dedicated to Horus of Behedet, the lord of Edfu. It stands as the most renowned monument in Tell Edfu and represents the finest example of Ptolemaic temple construction in Egypt, celebrated for its completeness and exceptional state of preservation. The temple spans over 140m from south to north, covering an area of approximately 7000m2.

An optional tour to the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel temples about 3.5-hour, a one-way drive from Aswan These magnificent structures, renowned for their unique style, are considered masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture. They reflect the grandeur of the New Kingdom and were saved from flooding through a joint effort by the Egyptian government and UNESCO. The Great Temple of Ramesses II, also known as the Sun Temple, is dedicated to the four universal gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II himself. The smaller Temple of Queen Nefertari, often called the Temple of Hathor, honors the wife of the Sun God. Symbolically, the two temples unite Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God.

Day 8: Karnak & Luxor Temples

Today, we will embark on a journey to explore Luxor's East Bank, commencing with the breathtaking Temple of Karnak. It stands as the largest temple complex ever constructed, boasting a history that spans over 2000 years of continuous construction. Later, we will visit Luxor Temple, where you can admire its picturesque courtyard and the magnificent granite statues of Ramses the Great during our excursion.

Days 9: Hot Air Balloon & Luxor West Bank & Drive to Hurghada

After breakfast on board we'll head to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, providing an opportunity to explore tombs from various dynasties and the impressive Temple of Deir El Bahari. Along the way, pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two imposing seated statues of Amenophis III facing the Nile, which are sure to leave a lasting impression. Afterward, proceed to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This remarkable temple was constructed for the pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty who passed away in 1458 BC. Situated below the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile, it is located near the Valley of the Kings. After the tour, we'll take a scenic drive through the hills, leading us to the captivating Red Sea. Enjoy a blissful all-inclusive stay at beachfront resort in Hurghada, designed for ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.

An optional early morning tour is available on a magical journey where you soar above the timeless wonders of Luxor on a spectacular hot air balloon ride as the first rays of dawn illuminate the ancient landscape as the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the majestic Nile River unfold beneath you, a breathtaking panorama that will leave you awestruck for 45 minutes. You will be immersed in a world of tranquility and splendor, witnessing the sunrise that paints the sky in shades of gold and pink.

Day 10-12: Hurghada, free time

The next days are free to explore Hurghada or simply relax. Today there's an optional day trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkelling, which can be booked locally. Hurghada is one of the Red Sea's most popular resorts and it is easy to see why. Hotels and expanded infrastructure provide holidaymakers with excellent aquatic facilities for sail boarding, yachting, deep-sea fishing, SCUBA diving and snorkeling. Hurghada’s central location provides a gateway to prime offshore reefs, which are some of the finest in the world. Just outside Hurghada is an ancient Roman quarry called Mons Porphyritis and Port Safarga – a famously windy place which is ideal for windsurfing.

Day 13: Fly to Cairo

Following breakfast, we will depart Hurghada by flight and return to Cairo. Upon your arrival, we will transfer you to check-in at your hotel in Cairo.
