The rest of the day is yours to unwind or venture out to explore Cairo at your own pace. Perhaps, indulge in a delightful dinner at one of the restaurants with panoramic views of the Nile River and the city, or opt for the mesmerizing sound and light show at the pyramids in the evening.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara

Embark on a journey today to explore the last remaining ancient wonder of the world—the awe-inspiring Pyramids at Giza Plateau. Marvel at the grandeur of Cheops (Khufu), the largest of the three great pyramids, constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks over a span of more than 20 years. The other two pyramids, Chephren and Mycerinus, are equally breathtaking, creating a spectacle best experienced in person.

Next, venture to Memphis, where the colossal statue of Ramses II awaits your admiration. Following this, immerse yourself in the tomb-laden necropolis of Saqqara, home to King Zhoser's Step Pyramid. Following breakfast, take a brief southbound flight to Aswan and proceed to your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the enchanting Philae Temple and the Aswan High Dam. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple underwent a remarkable UNESCO-led rescue effort in the 1970s. Rising water levels from the Old Aswan Dam's reservoir, coupled with the impact of the formidable High Dam, prompted the relocation of Philae Temple, stone by stone, to higher ground on nearby Agilika Island.

Carved into the side of a mountain between 1290 and 1224 BC, the temple's entrance is guarded by four renowned colossal statues of the pharaoh. Upon returning to Aswan, enjoy some free time—whether indulging in vibrant souqs and markets for shopping or simply unwinding in the charming town that spans the banks of the River Nile. In the afternoon, embark on your luxury Nile cruiser for a memorable 3-night cruise along the Nile.

Days 6 - 7: Kom Ombo & Luxor West Bank
